Assignments
like these are what make English classes enjoyable. Creating a set of
instructions for an audience is a project that I have never considered taking
on before. The project itself sounds organized, clean, and well put together,
which is something I strive for. A set of instructions for someone to use,
created by me, seems almost too good to be true.
Other
classes I’ve taken over the years have taught me to try and intergrade what’s
going on in my life to what’s going on in my classes. Learning the hard way
that trying to do much at once is not good for one person, I’m taking strides
to learn how to manage my personal and scholarly life together. In that
instance, I’ve decided to focus my third project on instructions to set up a
LinkedIn account.
A
LinkedIn account, to chalk it up, is a professional social media account that
uploads your resume and connects you to other people around the globe. It’s a
way for a person to network and learn or join new groups that could help propel
them in their professional career. LinkedIn is a great way to look for future
employment and to also reach out to future employees. I have chosen to create
this set of instructions because creating a LinkedIn account is huge in Career
Services, where I have just become a student ambassador.
